Senkichi is a dull man who works as a live-in caretaker at a movie theater. He harbors feelings for Rishiko, the owner of a seedy bar. Leaving Senkichi with the request to look after Kaori until things cool down, Tetsuya quickly disappears. Thus begins the strange cohabitation of Senkichi and Kaori.
